So I have ridden in the Gresford a handful of times commuting to town so far and enjoyed the first 15 minutes of rain last night. It's a certainly good value for money, I like the fabric, it feels sturdy, the jacket is built solid.
All the buttons close well, the storm cuffs are great with thir 2 buttons for tightening choice, the front zipper is sturdy.
The fit is good, I ordered a size L and wear a 42 chest or an EU 50, with broad shoulders.
I like the fleece inner lining and the way it zips in, once the jacket is closed it sits in tights and I can can also wear it in reverse as a gilet which could maybe keep me even warmer.
Too bad the inner pocket is accessible only by unzipping the fleece and opening the jacket but yeah, well, ok.
The tartan lining is good, also inside the sleeves it's keeping my arms and pits warm enough (riding in 10°C with a sweater underneath only).
The belt is fine, not too long so it always looks proper once tied ro when unbuckled.
The armour pockets are well made and I do like the quilted padding on the shoulders and elbows, they give that extra biker look.
Only gets 4 stars because, well, I've had it for a week.
Oh, looks terrific and smells nice, will probably write a more in-depth review on my blog porque.racing
Thanks
